WebPersonally, I'd go with the 139s because I tend to skate boards that range from 8"-8.25". But even if I picked up an 8.5" deck and skated it with my 8" trucks, it wouldn't be the end of the world. Think about it, the trucks would be a total of 1/2" smaller, that would only be 1/4" on either side. Take out a ruler and look at how big a 1/4" is.
